Square Stage

Wendy Brathwaite – Librarian, Six Roads Branch Library

Over the years I have worked mainly with children and have encouraged their love of reading. My motto is “reading, the key to learning”, but can only come to fruition if it is nourished at a tender age.   I am very thankful that the Literacy Project has partnered with the library to do this, through their reading sessions. The volunteers are warm, friendly and very accommodating.  They are always well prepared, and choose stories that are interactive, facilitate discussion and generally with morals attached.  We cannot ask for a better partnership.  Thank you to the Literacy Project from the children and staff of the Six Roads Branch Library.
