Literacy Tutoring Intervention

We offer group or one – to – one support from trained teaching professionals, to children and adults who struggle with reading, which by extension has implications for writing and comprehension skills. This programme utilizes a systematic synthetic phonics methodology, with a multi-sensory and active learning approach, which equips the participant with the important skill of decoding unfamiliar words, thereby promoting fluency in reading and writing. When the focus on the challenge of tackling the technical component of the activity of reading becomes minimized, readers are empowered to give their full attention to the message of the text. The freedom of critical analysis can then begin.

We cater to all socio-economic groupings, however, it is our primary aim to ensure that children from disadvantaged backgrounds can access the Literacy support that they require.
