The Literacy Project Charity has been enlisted as an Approved Entity on the National Give Back Barbados Programme - a national campaign which was established by the Government of Barbados to encourage its citizens to contribute to the development of the country through civic engagement and volunteer service to communities.

In June 2018, the Barbados Government instituted a policy that represented their commitment to pay the tuition fees of Barbadian students pursuing courses of studies at the University of the West Indies, The Barbados Community College and The Erdiston Teachers’ Training College. In return, the students are required to Give Back a set number of hours in approved community service per year. Please visit the Give Back Barbados website for further information.
